CROWN POINT (05-23-2016) The tone became set after the first three innings for the Crown Point Bulldogs in their non-conference home match-up against the Morgan Township Cherokees.

They scored five runs through the first three, helping pave the way for a 7-2 victory in their second-to-last regular season game of 2016.

Junior starting pitcher Grayson Lynk provided consistency both on the mound and at the plate. The right hander delivered six innings, only giving-up three hits for the win and connected for a two-run homer over the left-field fence in the bottom of the fifth. In all, Lynk went two for four, also with a double and two runs scored. He also drew a walk.
