CROWN POINT (05-07-2016) Itís not easy to defeat one of the best teams in Northwest Indiana when committing five errors. The Crown Point Bulldogs did that against a powerhouse in the Andrean 59ers, as the visitors picked-up a 9-4 victory at Crown Point High School May 7.

The 59ers managed to get a runner on base in every inning except the second. The result in each frame marked at least one run scored in every inning.

Led by Senior Noah Davisís three hits and an RBI added to junior Justin Ruthrauff's 2 RBIs, the 59ers improved their mark to 15 games over the .500 mark.

The Bulldogs put together a rally in the bottom of the fifth, sending seven men to the plate on three runs on three hits.
